1. Who we are

Career Leverage ("we", "us", "our") provides a career intelligence system including the Career Scorecard, the Message Analyser and the free book "The Intrapreneur's Playbook". We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password hash.
• Scorecard responses: the answers you submit and the resulting score and recommendations.
• Usage data: pages visited, device type, IP address, browser, referrer, timestamps.
• Communications: emails you send us and our replies.

We do not store the message text you paste into the Message Analyser, nor the AI rewrite. Those exist only for the duration of your session.

3. How we use your data

• To deliver the scorecard, free book and any tools you sign up for.
• To send transactional emails (login, results, requested resources).
• To send the Career Leverage newsletter, where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To improve our tools, content and user experience.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Lawful basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (newsletter and optional cookies), the performance of a contract (delivering tools and resources you requested), and our legitimate interests in running and improving the service.

5. Sharing your data

We use a small number of trusted processors to operate the service, including hosting, database, email delivery and analytics providers. They process data on our instructions under written contracts. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep your account and scorecard results for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time and we will erase data that is not needed for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@careerleverage.co.uk.

8. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for essential site functionality and, where you opt in, for analytics so we can understand how the site is used and improve it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice.
